Roku Indoor Camera is not intended for outdoor use. For outdoor monitoring, we recommend the Roku Outdoor Wired Camera which comes with a weatherproof power adaptor, or the battery-powered Roku Outdoor Camera.

Does Roku Indoor Camera record all the time?

Roku Indoor Camera only starts recording when it’s triggered by motion or sound. With a Roku Smart Home Subscription, these recordings are stored in the cloud for 14 days.

Can Roku Indoor Camera record through a window?

Roku Indoor Camera can detect motion through a window, but it may experience more interference from glares or reflections. For outdoor security, we recommend Roku Outdoor Camera or Roku Outdoor Wired Camera.
