Brighter, Bolder, More Realistic TV Images

More vibrant color
Get rich, realistic color detail—even in the darkest shadows and brightest highlights—when you stream HDR content on a compatible HDR TV.* HDR displays a wider range of colors, brighter whites, and deeper blacks to create more natural, beautiful, and true-to-life imagery.

Bright, bold, realistic pictures
HDR technology enhances the contrast and color representation of the existing pixels on your TV to create a more natural viewing environment. And, you don't need a huge screen to see the HDR difference. With HDR, colors are bright and bold. Shadows and highlights form exquisite detail. Detail pops off the screen.

Incredibly smooth video
With up to 60 frames of video per second, you get smooth, responsive, crystal-clear motion no matter how frantic the car chase or drawn-out the instant replay.
Things to know: 60fps requires compatible TV and content.

HDR content has arrived
See movies and TV shows in a whole new light. HDR content has hit the ground running – especially in the world of streaming. Big-budget films (and an increasing number of TV series) are being offered in HDR, and big brands in streaming like Netflix and FandangoNOW are already offering new releases– like Jason Bourne, Marco Polo, and The Do Over-- in HDR.
Things to know: HDR content on Netflix, FandangoNOW, and other channels requires paid subscription or purchase or rental.
*The HDR experience requires a compatible HDR TV and HDR content. Roku devices featuring HDR playback support the HDR-10 standard. HDR content will not be available on all channels and may require additional payment to access. Check with the HDR channel provider for specific bandwidth requirements to access its HDR content. High Speed HDMI® Cable is required.
