Our Inclusion Strategy team partners across Roku to implement programs that advance inclusion and create delight for our employees, partners, and consumers alike. Inspiring Inclusion within Roku
Our Employee Resource Groups
Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) program contributes to our culture of inclusion and belonging by cultivating awareness, understanding, and empathy across the workplace. These voluntary, employee-led groups empower individuals to grow through professional development, meaningful networking, and impactful mentoring. By building strong, supportive communities, ERGs help bridge gaps, amplify voices, and drive positive change for both members and Roku as a whole.

Our Learning and Growth Culture
Our Inclusion Strategy and Learning & Growth teams partner to enable an environment of continuous learning. Highlights of offerings include a monthly speaker series to all employees, team learning experiences, and on-demand technical and non-technical skills development through LinkedIn Learning.

Transforming Pathways and Making an Impact
We seek to make purposeful investments in developing future talent across our industry. We create meaningful pathways for a diverse range of high school students to explore careers in our industry through our Social Impact program. Our employees partner with nonprofits to share their expertise and provide young people with valuable industry insights and hands-on experiences. An example of our investments is Roku Change Makers, now streaming on The Roku Channel. Since its inception in 2021, nearly 1,000 students nationwide participated in this program, in partnership with Fresh Films. Each year, students are tasked with creating a documentary highlighting change makers in their local communities, while receiving mentorship from the Roku Originals team. We also collaborate with external organizations to connect a broad range of talent with real-world opportunities for the experienced workforce.
Creating Delight for Our Consumers
Our Inclusion Strategy and Roku Media teams partner to curate content on the Roku platform and The Roku Channel into various zones to help viewers easily find content from streaming partners. These zones currently include Asian & Pacific Islander Voices, Black Voices, Latino Voices, Pride, and Women’s Voices.

Looking Ahead
Our strategic initiatives require our people to be performing at the highest levels, executing on big goals, solving complex problems, and collaborating effectively and inclusively – all supported by our inclusion strategies and programs.
